Germantown Urology Center is the urology practice of Dr. Allen A. Farsaii, an American
Board of Urology certified urologist. Dr. Farsaii combines extensive experience,
compassion and the latest technology in addressing your urological concerns. He treats
each patient as a partner in the treatment of his or her own urological condition, and patient
education is central to his practice. Dr. Farsaii specializes in treating various urologic conditions including prostate and kidney cancer, kidney stones, and urinary infection.
A NATURAL DESIRE TO HEAL
"Ever since my childhood, I knew I wanted to become a doctor. I've always been the type to help people. I was the one who would stop to help the older woman cross the street. You've heard the saying about performing random acts of kindness. Well, I took it to heart. Except in my case, it's more like performing random acts of wellness. I've never turned away anyone in real need. I'm just grateful that I've been in a position to really give. To me, there's no greater gift than good health."
MAKING MUSIC AGAIN
"I remember one patient I had. I was very endeared to her. She was a 92-year-old piano professor. Liszt, Rachmaninoff. You should hear her play - even today. Her passion for music is almost overwhelming. Sadly, she had physical limitations that also overwhelmed her at times. She suffered greatly from incontinence (loss of bladder control). She tried not to let it affect her instruction and her performances - but it did. That is, until I performed bladder surgery on her and was able to correct the situation. Now she has full control of her bladder as well as the keyboard! It almost seems as if her passion is even more intense now than it was before. And all I can say is 'Encore'."
REKINDLING PASSIONS
"I don't think most men are aware of how common erectile dysfunction really is. And when I say 'erectile dysfunction', I'm referring to any condition that affects the sexual performance of a man - ranging from impotence to premature and even late ejaculation. It's extremely gratifying to know that I've been able to restore this very important part of a man's life. I've helped patients who had previously lost all hope. Some even thought they had to go to China for a cure. One man was reluctant to bring his fiancée to the United States, because he could not overcome his problem with premature ejaculation. I was able to help him, and today he is a very happily married man. I only hope I can give those happy endings to other men, as well."
